Writing 2002-present Journalism I report on science and nature, research and policy, careers and education, community news and parenting for magazines, newspapers, and websites. I write about faculty research, cover conferences, and edit newsletters for universities and scientific societies. Recent clients include the LA Times, Discover, Science, and Nature.
Scientific Writing and Editing I provide writing and editing services to scientists and clinicians preparing scholarly articles, reviews, and monographs, as well as grant applications. Clients include New York University, Harvard University, Redpoint Bio, IPSEN, and McMahon Publishing.
Research 1990-2002 My research encompassed the fields of neuroscience, pharmacology, and psychology. I authored a book chapter and numerous articles in scientific journals. I was principal investigator on two federally funded grants.
